TOKYO
Awoke around 6am left by 7am for Tsujiki fish market.
Only allowed around gift shops til 9am but ended up queueing for raw fish breakfast. Very filling, very raw.
Wander around the biggest fish market taking photos, that weirdly did not smell and had no flies.
Walked to Imperial Palace – massive and no entry.
Wanted to go MOMAT but realised all closed Mondays so walked through Tokyo station area.
Dying of pain and hopped on JR line to Shinjuku – much livelier, lots of ‘girls’ bars – will be epic at night but came back for hot bath then set out to Roppongi for Burger King. BK employees same worldwide… Black burger = epic!
Wandered via Finn McCools for a wee stop and again had worse luck with Japanese than in Jap places.
Train back to pack at 1030pm .
P.s. another custard pillow today 😀 and got eaten by Jap mozzie.
